Connections require risk. We don't do it because it’s easy, we do it because connections make everything possible.

I offer therapy for individuals, couples and families with the option of meeting in person, online or in nature-based settings.

I also offer a unique Solution Focused weekend retreat for couples. This approach is a great way to maintain, revitalize, heal and reconnect with your partner.

Exciting partnerships with adventure groups have allowed me to offer outings that can take you further. Check out the recent partnership with the Wayfinders group in Mongolia under Outings below.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Good counselling co-creates a confidential space where you feel comfortable and able to talk about things you might find difficult to elsewhere in your life.

Counselling is an opportunity to identify problematic patterns, process difficult life transitions like loss, and start to make positive changes to feel better.

It's my hope that through this process you feel heard and gain more self-awareness and tools that you can use to cope with life’s challenges.

  • In the beginning, I recommend we meet weekly for a few sessions to get to know each other and build some momentum. Ultimately I leave this decision up to you, depending on your needs and availability of time and finances. Most people see me either every week, biweekly or monthly.

I don’t believe in “quick fixes” or “get well fast” schemes. We will take our time working through your challenges - there is no rush and no limit on the number of sessions. You are always free to let me know when you feel we’ve accomplished your goals and to come back when/if needed. With that said, a Solution Focused approach to therapy can often produce positive results fairly quickly, but everyone is different.
